Each year we ask for member feedback on what we’re doing at CrossFit. It’s not just a roundabout way of us getting some pats on the back; we want to know what we’re doing right so we can do more of it and to understand any areas we can improve on. We say it all the time but our CrossFit gym is nothing without its members and so their opinions are incredibly important to us*.

*Apart from the one about letting Mark control the playlist for every WOD. That won’t be happening.

What do you love most about CrossFit 3D?

By far the most popular answer to this question was all about community. Our members just love each other! Other positives were about the size of the gym and amount of equipment available as well as the programming and how the WODs challenge different skill sets and muscle groups. Here’s what some of you had to say:

“Oh hard question – I just bloody love you guys. It’s the community – just amazing!”

“Varied workouts each time and the friendliness of everyone”

“The genuine support and help provided by the coaches and the class structures”

“The people, everyone is so encouraging”

What would you change about CrossFit 3D?

Not to brag but a few people either left this spot blank or simply said ‘I wouldn’t change a thing.’ A few suggestions centred around equipment, such as lifting platforms or echo bikes. A couple of people said some extra weightlifting classes could come in handy, and we had a call for more competitions – watch this space on that.  There was some feedback on the kids classes too, which Strets has taken on board.

What do the coaches at CrossFit 3D do well?

A resoundingly positive response to this one. The coaching team are the backbone of 3D and the feedback we got was overwhelmingly positive: We’ll dive straight into what was said:

“Answer questions, help with form and technique and give you a push when you need it”

“Help with scales & explaining the stimulus of the workout so you can scale appropriately”

“Approachable, friendly & cope with us bell ends at 6am who don’t listen” (Anon)!

“Excellent communicators, patient, supportive, encouraging, inspire others with their love of CrossFit. They have good banter with the members & genuinely care – they’re ace!”

How do you describe CrossFit 3D to your friends and family?

Possibly one of our favourite questions! ‘Something they need to try’ was up there with the best answers obviously. There’s always our 30 day trial folks! Here’s a few of the other answers:

“The best CrossFit gym in Manchester with the friendliest members and excellent proper CF programming with high standard coaching.”

“Somewhere I go to make me feel better both physically and mentally.”

“Yeah it’s CrossFit, but not CrossFit CrossFit you know? Everyone is sound, they’re not like that, it’s all proper sensible. Yeah they do do those pull-ups though, yeah”

“More than a gym, it’s like a big family! (Of weird people that get undressed & do silly workouts)”

Thanks to all of our members who took the time to fill in the survey. It really helps us to keep getting better and be the best CrossFit gym in Manchester. We’d love it if we could get even more responses next year as our CrossFit community continues to grow. We’ve onboarded quite a few new members recently so you’ll start seeing even more friendly faces on the gym floor. Keep up the good work guys, and don’t forget to tell everyone about our one month trial. You all know the first rule of CrossFit is to tell everyone about CrossFit.
